Well, as of last night, I got my hands on Gears of War 2 and Too Human. Since I'm on break, this means my ass has solid hours to play. I'm on a mission to complete these games, thus, you all should know I probably wont be as active on DotA/Vent during most if not all, daylight hours. And probably some evening hours. I've got achievements to unlock, especially 100,000 kills to acquire.
However, when I'm not on the 360, I'll still get on. Just fyi.

Too Human was a great idea, but the controls were executed poorly. Havent played gears 2 yet. Tell me how it is.

Alright, well after cruising through GoW2 and hitting lvl 20, 40% completion in Too Human, I'd say they are both pretty good games. GoW2 is definitely worth the $.. it delivers everything it should. The story and cinematics are epic. Also, the Horde mode easily adds infinite replayability since you can fight 50 waves, increasing in difficulty and # spawned. It's kind of like playing Left 4 Dead but with somewhat intelligent horde/guns and all those other creatures. An example strategy from what me and my friend do is we find a reasonably spaced out area with 1 or 2 entrances. Then we try to take out the Grinders/Maulers since they drop Mulchers(basically 400 round chaingun) and Boomshields(also function as deployable cover, good at blocking the 1/2 entrances)(P.S. Blood mounts can go to hell, with 2x hp, a pack of them can pretty much annihilate me and my coop buddy since they move fast, have an almost insta-down melee attack and their rider has like perfect accuracy with his pistol)
As for the controls in Too Human.. all it takes is getting used to them and they fare up alright from a combat perspective. It almost engages you a little more into it since you throw a little more motion into the controller than your standard X/Y button combos. Of course, there's always inaccuracy with pulling off your killing strikes over and over when you need them most. Also, the camera angles can get annoying since you don't exactly have any control besides facing it where your character is looking with LB. If you can get past that... it's easily one of the top 10 RPGs of all time. The loot in this game is what really hits home, you get addicted to finding the next tiers of gear. I practically creamed myself when the first blue item dropped. It was like 20x better than the gear I had and I was cleaving through mobs like it was nothing.
