It has come to our attention we have ppl that want to go to endgame content. In order for us to make that happen most effectively and make a change to how we are currently doing it we got suggestions from those not able to go. Please post here if you are in support of this idea only so no negative responses please. The suggestion was to raid at a regular time so say mondays is 6 est and friday 10est and so forth or always at 10est or whtever we come up with and I guarantee that it will not be late all the time. THe idea is that we will have 24 ppl on at those times to choose from to make teams. The only caveat to this idea is you have to be available all the lockout days for the entire group you end up with.

It's sort of silly to have everyone doing it on the same exact schedule. For "raid" content, where you need multiple groups it's obviously a necessity, but for 6 man instances I don't see a reason not to grp people up by their availability, and then let them figure it out amongst themselves. Micromanaging ftl.

There would be no micro managing 24 ppl show up then we do 4 groups 12 ppl show up we do 2 groups its whoever shows up. The problem we have now is we have 2 groups doing content on a regular basis and we have a shit ton of ppl that want to do content. The ones that are not doing content feel, and I think legitimately, that there has to be a better solution than the same 12 ppl getting into the content. So we are looking for solutions because the, "let ppl choose", hasnt worked especially since the scheduling has never worked out for them. I am not saying pick static teams I am saying is there a better way to get more ppl into the endgame we need them in there for the gear to make a real run at Altdorf.

I see what you're saying, but having set days = someone is not going to be able to make it, be it work or school or what have you. Also, having 12 people show up doesn't equal 2 groups.
I think ppl who aren't in the "static" grps should post up with their availability, and work with other people to try and get the floating tanks/healers some bilerot/bloodwrought gear so we can start up new groups.

I agree with goob, these dungeons need premades and the chance of the exact amount of each class showing up every time is unlikely. Unless you are planning on taking pugs (strongly reccommend you dont) then I would just have everyone who is interested in running PvE post and then form up static teams with those players.
