The first thing you're probably thinking when reading this title is holy shit, another fucking Call of Duty? Didn't they cover ALL of WWII already? Well, Call of Duty: World at War is focused on the US conflict with Japan in WWII. There are two campaigns that you will be able to chose from. One will be the USMC fighting against the Japanese Army in the Pacific, and the other being Soviet Red army invading Berlin. Coming from Activision, this game should be really entertaining. If you've ever played a Call of Duty game before, you will know what I mean. Activision has promised a lot of new features coming in this game. They are implementing co-op play into the offline campaign, and you will be also able to play the storyline mode online with friends, similar to Halo 3. The graphics are promised to be amazing, as were COD4's. The game is scheduled to release on November 11, so you have plenty of time to save some money if you are planning on getting this bad boy. You will be able to play on PC, Xbox360, PS3, PS2, Wii, and Nintendo DS (i lold). The price will be $59.99 in US. Minimum System requirements for PC:Processor: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better Memory: 8GB free HDD space, and 512MB (XP), 1GB (Vista LOL) Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia Geforce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better Here is the HD cinematic trailer from youtube. Hope you guys enjoy this game, and learn something from this. Please leave your comment on what you think about this game. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_Ip_SaJqpg

Psh, if you don't have a dual core processor, don't even think about trying to run on single core. It will lag to hell, even being minimum system requirements.

I find it kind of odd that the WWII genre is lasting longer in videogames than the actual fucking war it portrays

I think call of duty needs to either quit the series, or cover a war other than fucking WWII. They were going good for CoD4, then it's just BAM, right back to WWII. Dumb asses.

Maybe I am partial because my grandpa served in the Pacific and I was very close to my grandpa but I love WWII games. It was a great time in our country and took an extraordinary effort to win the conflict. Well, that and a couple bombs that had a lot of bang.

my Grandpa fought in World War Two as well, as a result he doesnt even like it when fireworks go off. So suffice it to say when he sees me play shooter games he flips out.
Oh yeah, they also hate Japan still.

Every one handles war different. My grandpa is dead now but he lived to be 80. He was a scout on all those Pacific Islands like Guam, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima. He never had a hard time talking about it even though he saw almost all his friends die. He would show me pictures and say where he was and when and what he was doing. He did not resent the Japanese. He knew that they were soldiers just like he was. They were just fighting for a very different cause. I have some pictures that he got off dead Japs. They are of their families and wives. It is really eerie.
I doubt he would care for me playing some of the WWII shooters though.

Well, war is alot different now then it was back then, I believe World War 2 was the last war in which American soldiers fought without the use of some kind of experimental drug or injection.
Ever notice how sane some of the WW2 survivors are compared to those of Vietnam? How about some of the first Iraw war in 1993? I know its just a theory but I think the US government was experimenting with some crazy kind of drugs for soldiers back then, probably still are now.
