Q: What is your steam:ID? Please post a URL to your steam page.
A: steamcommunity.com/id/Beanies
Q: Who or what got you referred to this application?
A: I was casually browsing old reddit posts and saw it.
Q: Where are you from?
A: Canada
Q: How long have you been playing DotA?
A: Roughly 3 years in DotA1, started in 2005, but considering the times I quit it makes up around to 3 years.
Q: Measure your own skill on a scale of 1-10, one being brand new to DotA and ten being an experienced DotA pro. Also give a short explanation about why you believe to be at that level on the scale.
A: I would give myself a 7. I have a working knowledge of the mechanics in DotA, and common DotA sense. I also know some intermediate strategies.
Q: Do you understand the basics of human relations over a game with the intensity of DotA? In other words, do you know how to not let your temper flare and impair your judgment?
A: Of course. I do have colorful language occasionally though.
Q: Do you have and know how to use Ventrilo?
A: Yup.
Q: Do you have a microphone?
A: Yup.
Q: What other games have you played in the past?
A: Many games, many from Steam, some from different companies. I have played most MOBAs, HoN, LoL, DotA, BLC.
Q: Do you currently have the DotA2 beta?
A: Yup.
Q: Do you have any additional information you would like to share?
A: I would like to elaborate on why I am doing this. Quite frankly, I do not enjoy playing with randoms. The lack of team work and the fact that many of them do not have a working knowledge of DotA bothers me a bit. My last game, I had a person leave before even picking a champion. They decided to give up and leave right away as soon as they could abandon the game safely, instead of trying to see if we could still win. I do not want to go through that again so here I am. Essentially, what I want to do is play with a team that I am able to communicate with. Simple as that.
