So already a few of IHGers are playing Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) or have tried it. I'm currently playing a level 44 Jedi Guardian and I am having a blast. It is similar to World of Warcraft in some regards but it adds enough to make the game different and enjoyable. The voice acting definitely adds a new aspect to the MMO Genre that I have never experienced before and it is very enjoyable! So if you're looking to play SWTOR hit me up in vent, my main is Rahn on the US East server Fatman (Currently the most populated US East PVP Server). I know a few others currently play SWTOR so why not drop a post and say where you play, if we get enough IHGers playing maybe we can form a guild. I'm liking the look of this game and its future, a major patch out within a month of release is a pretty good sign and Bioware is actively improving and working on bugs! Bugs such as permanently ruining the balance of pvp by allowing 1 faction to farm the other and then not doing a rollback show a pretty grim future imo. not to mention things like this : massively.joystiq.com/2012/01/19/swtor-unsubscribe-goes-missing-for-some/And a title reward incentive to try and get people not to cancel at the end of this month. Doesnt seem very promising to me. PLus the 50 pvp is rly shit atm. Though it may change, i doubt itll change in time. I mean, even the core rewards system for say, being a healer in a battleground is horrible. You recieve much lower rewards (medals f.e) for healing than you do facerolling the keyboard. All of this is relatively easily changed, but the fact is that a lot of people wont stick around, and first impressions these days are very important.

Yea, try to spread IHG to other games. Get shit on. Thanks guys.
The PVP Bug has been fixed. While the Valor rollback would be nice, I don't think anyone got from Valor 1 to 65 in a single day from it and consider Valor means nothing except being able to use special mounts I also don't see what the big deal is.
The game has just started, it will grow. Gotta give it a chance.
As for people sticking around a lot of servers are still around the Heavy load even on off hours, thats a pretty good sign it still has a solid playerbase.

I dont see anyone making personal attacks on you. Plus, theres already another SW:TOR thread, Heavy load doesnt denote much to me if you dont mention the number per server/ number of servers etc And i'd expect the numbers to drop after this free month expires tbh as with all new mmo's.

*Cough* TORtanic *cough* If you see a bright future for a game that had infinite credit glitch, immortal dance and missing turrets disbalancing PvP during the first few months of the game's existence, and a company that resolves to tricks like hiding unsubscribe buttons, then sorry but that's naive hope. According to the Escapist they spent nearly half a billion dollars for something that's not innovative (even though they WHINE why people don't consider it innovative, even though they contradict themselves by saying that they took elements from different MMOs and polished it) and for most of us, boring. Also read this article kirksigmon.com/2012/01/tortanic-star-wars-the-old-republic-sinking-fast/It's just hillarious, I'd never give them my money.
