Why all the hate on my nigga Sleisel? I see Gofu(ckyourself) and Loej(erk) hatin on my nigga Sleisel and it just doesnt make sense. Sleisel is the best overall player in IHG so instead of thinking you're right and trying to argue with him you should probably listen to what he has to say as he has played the game probably 2-3 more years than you.
If you really think you're better than Sleisel, you can challenge his (our) team to a scrim, and we'd be more than happy to PBShitstomp you. Instead of arguing like children on the forums, duke it out in-game and get style'd on.
Thats all, keep your swag on. This one goes out to my nigga Sleisel and the CHOOCHOO PBSwag rapetrain.

"Best overall player" while he whines at Tides for not ulting half a second earlier as he fingers a creep on Lion. Sounds good. Once x1 and I are able to play again we'd be more than happy to scrim your team of shit-talkers to show you can't back it up.

I don't "hate" on anyone. That said, I think I can shed some light on what polarizes people in situations like this... and note that I'm not talking about Sleisel specifically here. This all refers in general to skilled players that are at odds with their team or the community. It all boils down to constructive criticism, not blaming others, and earning the respect of your team. 1.) If someone makes a mistake (or is about to) and you can't tactfully point it out in a constructive manner, then they will likely take a defensive standpoint and try to justify their action(s) rather than own up to their mistake and learn from it. I will take correction from better players all day long, so long as they do it constructively. 2.) The moment you start the blame-game, is the moment I stop listening to you. I had an in-house game yesterday as Tide with a WR vs. a tri-lane. I told him in vent "My mana is full, I'm going to Gush this Lich next time he comes up to zone us." I did, and the WR fired off an Arcane Shot. At that point Lich was low, but they were still a tri-lane and so I backed off. WR saw it differently, and decided to go in on him vs. 3 and died to first blood. He then blamed me for "starting the fight." o.O Bottom Line: Very few "mistakes" only involve ONE person, and there is almost always something that YOU could have done differently. 3.) If you lose the respect of your teammates (and I'm not talking about skill level, I'm talking about general respect as a person) then it doesn't matter how deep your understanding of the game is, or how badass you are as an individual contributor... your team won't listen and you're hampering your effectiveness. As a final thought... and I may be alone in thinking this, but I'm gonna say it: People don't join IHG to "play with the best." If someone's goal was to play at a professional level, they would be looking elsewhere. People join IHG to play DotA with like-minded players, who respect each other and enjoy the game as a community. All that to say, the fact that someone may be the 'best' in the group, doesn't mean they live above the rules. In fact, I see more flaming and rage-quitting from the best players in our league than I do from the new recruits. Anyway, I digress. I like playing with Sliesel, but I have pretty thick skin and can take his criticism to heart. I suggest we ask everyone to toughen up a bit and not get so emotional about everything. At the same time, our officers should be enforcing our rules across all members, regardless of skill level. ...I suppose this should have a TL:DR but... meh. -hax

At the same time, our officers should be enforcing our rules across all members, regardless of skill level. This, times a million. Sleisel constantly shit talks, in and out of game, this thread is abundant proof of that. He is rarely constructive, discussions with him inevitably boil down to him saying he is better than you and that you're shit, he rages on people constantly, and he rage quits more than anyone else, yet I have yet to see any sort of action taken against him. He is, at his core, an angry troll that represents the vitriolic side of DOTA that nobody wants to see, yet IHG continues to allow it. Spectating a game today, we had a spectator who was also an applicant and his comments on Sleisel were "from the forums, he seems kinda like an asshole." That is the first impression that he gives off to new players of the IHG community as a whole, yet no action is taken against him because he is one of the better players in IHG. I don't ask for, nor do I deserve, any different treatment as another one of the better players. I can lose my temper occasionally, yet I still respect the rules and when someone says "you need to stop raging" I respect that. Sleisel does not.

I will admit rage quitting that scrim was my fault however your stubborn " I'm the captain so I can ignore everything my teammates say attitude has to go..." Everyone on our team consistently said to pick sniper but you refused saying he is a bad hero yet yesterday other captains picked you axe and tiny and no one gave 2 shits.. as a captain it is your job to pick the heroes most well suited for your players NOT to pick whatever you THINK is well suited..
Anyways I usually never flame anyone in-game i nicely say what you should have done.. and please don't take it personally I might have a loud voice and sound pissy but thats how I naturally sound and i usually dont even remember shit after a day plus its pretty obvious I troll on the forums so ya don't see what the problem is we are fine in-game and vent no need to rant on the forums over meaningless shit.

I have never rage quit more than once and that was even before the game started because your a stubborn little kid and I found out i was lagging anyway so we prolly woulda had to rm anyway. =I have never shit talked ever i dont even know what your smoking cause i only shit talk on the forums and the last time i even came remotely close to shit talking was when someone didnt crow the chicken until 40 minutes with no wards. Seriously I dont want you making accusations until you have proof
