Interesting. I will probably do some research into this if they put this act into motion.

After playing Spore for a week straight, I want to know what the fuck is at the center of the galaxy that makes everything spin around it.
The Earth spins because of the heavy metals and magma in the center of the earth. Planets spin around the sun due to gravity and something else I cant be bothered to remember But what causes Solar systems to revolve around the center of the galaxy?
And that brings up another question, what if our galaxy, The Milky way, is just as small as the Earth is in comparison to other galaxies, and that all the galaxies in the universe are orbiting something else entirely that we cant even begin to fathom, what if its all orbiting something in the center of the universe? Perhaps that is where God hangs out.

It is funny to me to think about how precise our world and solar system are and that many people believe that it exploded into existence. Now, I have watch enough movies to know that when something goes "bang" things normally don't end up better ^.^

I tend to not argue about these types of issues on gaming forums. Usually people can not debate civilly and/or people just flame. But if you are truly curious try this out: www.ichthus.info/BigBang/intro.htmlI just found this site and skimmed threw it. I do not agree with it all but I found it informative. Ultimately, I find it odd how it is called the Big Bang Theory and yet it is taught as fact. Go figure. /open floodgate of flames

This is always the touchy part with a lot of people though. Because some people might believe something like the 'Big Bang Theory' occurred, and some may believe in what the Bible says, or another religion. IMO no one can truly know what happened, therefore everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I personally don't believe the Big Bang Theory or the 'Adam and Eve' theory.

The problem with anything but a creationist view is you have to have something to start with. And then you have to ask where that something came from etc... I find it easier to believe that there is a higher being that created and now He wants me to play video games!

One of my favorite theories is the Ice Canopy one.
Basically to sum it up, Earth's atmosphere was surrounded by a giant layer of ice, and this ice caused Earth to be highly pressurized. This high pressure accounts for everything being fucking huge, things like dinosaurs, giant prehistoric plants, and giants like "Goliath". Then, one day for some reason, the Ice Barrier surrounding Earth collapsed, probably due to a meteor, this would account for every religion and evidence pointing to a flood wiping out civilization.
