Last November 8th 2011, Modern Warfare 3 hit the stands and now Activision has released that Modern Warfare 3 has received the largest day-one shipments in the gaming history.
In response to this, the following statement was released through Activision’s CEO Bobby Kotick:
"As we focus on 2012, we have a strong product pipeline which features a minimum of two highly-anticipated new titles from Blizzard Entertainment, including Diablo III, and a new Call of Duty game from Activision Publishing"
So now it is official, there will be a new Call Of Duty title launching next year.

Don't they have two teams working in tandem? So each game has two years of work on it?

Trey Arch (sp?) basically makes a title a year. Infinity Ward (used to?) take about 2-3 years development for the higher quality CoDs (MW1/MW2). Dunno about MW3 and any future CoDs, but ever since they fired a lot of the original IW developers, that entire series has gone to shit (well, a deeper, more rancid brand >.>).

I like them for relaxing. There's very little real strategy to employ, just sprint around until you see someone and shoot as fast as you can. Still play Black Ops just to chill.
But yeah, quality has certainly gone down in the last few

I never really found the appeal to games like CoD or Halo. Although I've never played Battlefield, I think that they would more suit my taste.

Diablo III... A legend. Everyone has been talking about it for like 4 years, and Blizzard was saying "We'll release it soon". Well let's see if it was worth so much time of making
